Older twin peace officer.
History
I’d always been there. Always been the one taking care of D, protecting her from the bullies at school, getting her out of any other trouble she’d gotten in. You know, just like a big sister should. Sure, I was older than her by less than an hour, but that didn’t really matter, I was the older sister, it was my job.
And while my sister had her problems, I didn’t. I was a social butterfly. Everyone liked me, and I had all kinds of friends… HAH! No, I had friends alright, but I wasn’t the cheerleader type. Nope, I was the type who was out on the playground playing football with the boys… and beating them. Always the tomboy, never the lady. I loved it though, and wouldn’t have changed anything for the world.
Ok, well, maybe it would have been nicer to be smarter. D didn’t even have to study for math, whereas I’d have to spend hours upon hours learning even the simplest things. Sure, I could throw a punch or run a mile, but sometimes I wish I had more up here. Granted I had some pretty awesome instincts, and I knew people, so it wasn’t all bad.
Guess that’s why I became a cop. Dad had a friend in the force, and he got me in the door. The rest? All me. I got in, got through the academy (it was nice to be away from home for a while), and now I’m a official member of the NYPD.
I’m ‘the rookie’, of course, and I haven’t been around much. But I was going to do a damned good job, no matter what. I’d ended up in the right place at the right time, and I’d stopped a robbery. No ordinary robbery, this man could make fire from his hands, with no weapons. I’d gotten a hold of a fire extinguisher, soaked his hands with it, and then knocked him out. And because of that, I was promoted to some ‘posthuman task force’ thing. Where I’m still the rookie, but it looks like I might have something important to do, here.
Personality
YT has a very forceful personality. She is stubborn and almost obsessive when it comes to discovering the truth and catching the 'bad guys'. She's also got almost no tolerance for bull, and will often tell people exactly what she's thinking.
